Candace and Brielle grew up during the golden age of YouTube beauty — learning techniques, discovering products, and obsessing over tutorials from creators like Jaclyn Hill, Kandee Johnson, and Carli Bybel and juicy star 07.

 They were the girls saving their money for MAC lipsticks, testing shades at the counter, and falling in love with makeup not just as a look — but as a form of confidence and self-expression.

Candace and Brielle grew up during the golden age of YouTube beauty — learning techniques, discovering products, and obsessing over tutorials from creators like Jaclyn Hill, Kandee Johnson, and Carli Bybel and juicy star 07.

After high school, their paths took different — yet perfectly complementary — directions.

Candace pursued formal training at the Makeup Designory in New York City, becoming a professional makeup artist before expanding her expertise as a licensed esthetician. She later founded her own studio, The Lash Genie, specializing in lash extensions and advanced beauty services.

Brielle built her skills from the inside of the beauty industry — working with brands like BareMinerals, MAC, and Charlotte Tilbury as a makeup artist and product specialist. Through hands-on experience, she developed a deep understanding of product performance, skin types, and how to create polished, wearable looks for real women with real lives. Now as a Event Planner & Designer, she uses the skills she learned for clients in bigger ways beyond the world of cosmetics.
